Cookstraße
Die Cookstraße (Cook Strait) ist eine Meeresstraße und trennt die neuseeländische Nordinsel von der Südinsel. Sie ist 35 km breit. An der Cookstraße liegt die neuseeländische Hauptstadt Wellington. Von hier aus fährt eine Eisenbahn- und Autofähre nach Picton auf der Südinsel.
