Doppelhelix
Eine Doppelhelix bezeichnet zwei parallel verlaufende Stränge von Makromolekülen, die wie eine Spirale schraubig umeinander geschlungen sind. Ein Beispiel für eine Doppelhelix ist etwa die Desoxyribonukleinsäure.
