Ein Operator kann sein:
- ein mathematisches Objekt, das eine lineare Abbildung beschreibt, siehe Operator (Mathematik)
- eine Person, die ein Gerät oder eine Anlage kontrolliert, die von vielen anderen Personen benutzt wird (z.B. Telefon-Operator, Sysop beim Computer), siehe Operator (Person)
