Toxizität (v. grch. toxikón (pharmakon) Pfeil(gift) < toxa Pfeil und Bogen) bedeutet 'Giftigkeit'.

Die Toxizität einer Substanz wird z.B. mit der Messgröße LD50 gemessen.
