Adnan Pachachi, an Iraqi politician, is a member of the Iraqi Governing Council and held its presidency in January 2004. He is a Sunni, and was a Foreign Minister during the King's reign that ended in 1958, with the assasination of the King at the hands of the pro-communist leader Abdelkarim Kassem.
