Angus is one of the historic counties and also one of 32 unitary council regions in Scotland. It borders onto Aberdeenshire, Perth and Kinross, the City of Dundee and Highland. Size:2200 km2. Main industries: agriculture and fishing.
The traditional county bordered Kincardineshire to the north-east, Aberdeenshire to the north, Perthshire to the west. Southwards, it faced Fife.
