Angus Frank Johnstone Wilson

) was a British
novelist

short story
writer,
knighted
for his services to literature. Wilson was born in
Bexhill

Sussex

, to an English father and
South African
mother. He was educated at
Merton College, Oxford
, and became a
librarian
at the
British Museum

. His first publication was a collection of short stories,

). His writing has a strongly
