Beerse is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the towns of Beerse proper and Vlimmeren. On January 1st, 2000 Beerse had a total population of 15,698 (7,841 males and 7,857 females). The total area is 37.44 km² which gives a population density of 419.28 inhabitants per km².
