The band has released five albums to date. The self titled album features vocals sung by vocalist Garm in Norwegian, and was released on Malicious Records in 1996. All subsequent records have been sung in English by both ICS Vortex from Dimmu Borgir, and Vintersorg from Otyg and his eponymous band, and relased by the Century Media label. Century also re-released the first album in 1999 under the Century Black sublabel, marking the first time American music fans could easily get a hold of the album.
Trivia: The Name "Borknagar" does not mean anything.
