Bury is a metropolitan borough on the northern side of Greater Manchester in North West England. The borough consists of six towns: Bury, Ramsbottom, Tottington, Radcliffe, Whitefield and Prestwich.
The borough has an area of 24,511 acres and serves a population of 181,900.
The town has a professional football club Bury F.C which plays at Gigg Lane.
