Camille de Tallard was a famous Frenchgeneral. He won a number of battles in his lifetime like Speyer (1703) but lost to John Churchill, the first Duke of Marlborough in the Battle of Blenheim. He was taken prisoner this battle. In 1726 he became minister of state.
