The China Policy Institute (CPI) is a centre for research into Chinese Policy and Sino-British relations at the University of Nottingham, England. Established in 2003, it is located in the University's Trent Building. Its Chairman is Elizabeth Wright, formerly a Foreign Officediplomat and Head of the BBC's Eurasia Service. The Institute was officially opened by Zhen Chili, Councillor of the People's Republic of China, and a former Chinese education minister.
