Chuvashia (Чува́шия, more officially Chuvash Republic Чува́шская респу́блика, in Chuvash language Чаваш республики) is a regional subdivision of Russia and the homeland of Chuvash people.

Officially established in June 1920. Area 18,300 sq km, population about 1,300,000.

The capital is Cheboksary.
