Communist Party of Poland
The Communist Party of Poland (Polish: Komunistyczna Partia Polski) was a historical communist party in Poland.
Found in 1918 from the merger of
Socialdemocratic Party of Polish Kingdom and Lithuania and
Polish Socialist Party-Left.
Illigal in Poland.
It was disbanded on the orders of Stalin in 1938, and was reconstituted as the Polish Workers' Party, which later became part of the ruling communist party of the People's Republic of Poland. It dissolved in 1990.
The name has been used by a minor party, established on July 2002.
