Comptroller and Auditor General
The Comptroller and Auditor General is a constitutional officer in Republic of Ireland who audits all disbursements and accounts of moneys administered by or under the authority of the Oireachtas.
In the UK the Comptroller and Auditor General is an officer of the House of Commons who is the head of the National Audit Office, the body that scrutinises government expenditure.
