Copacabana is a 4km beach in the south part of Rio de Janeiro.
Copacabana starts at Av. Princesa Isabel and ends at Posto Seis nearby the Forte de Copacabana. After the beach of Copacabana there is the small beach in Arpoador and the famous Ipanema beach.
Copacabana spans Posto Dois - Posto Seis. Leme is at Posto Um, not Copacabana.
Copacabana Beach can also be found on the Central Coast of NSW in Australia, about an hour north of Sydney.
Copacabana is also the name of a famous New York City nightclub.
Copacabana is also a song by Barry Manilow which was developed into a musical. The song's name came from the New York nightclub.
