CSI: Miami
CSI: Miami is a spinoff of the popular CBS network series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, about a team of forensic scientists. It is set in Miami, Florida in the present. It airs in the USA and several TV channels throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and South America.
The team investigate mysterious and unusual deaths to determine who killed them and how, and also solve other serious crimes such as rape.
The main characters include the head of CSI:Miami, Horatio “H.” Caine (played by David Caruso), a detective. He has two men and two women on his team:
- Calleigh Duquesne (Emily Procter), ballistics
- Kim Delaney (Megan Donner), ?
- Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez), underwater recovery expert
- Timothy 'Speed' Speedle (Rory Cochrane), street smart
Other cast members include John Hagen: (Holt McCallany), a homicide detective; Yelena Salas(Sofia Milos), a detective; and the coroner, Alexx Woods, M.D.(Khandi Alexander), who performs autopsies.
