Czarnkow

Czarnkow is a town in Greater Poland in Poland with 13000 inhabitants, from 1999 in Wielkopolska Province, in Czarnkow-Trzcianka County. Previously in Pila Voivodship (1975-1998). From 1772 to 1919 in German borders, known as Czarnikau.

Czarnkow it is one of most beautiful towns in the region. The town is crossed by the Notec river; around the town are hills. Therefore it is called Szwajcaria Czarnkowska.
