David Ervine(b. 21July1953) is a Northern Ireland politician and the current leader of the Progressive Unionist Party. Ervine, once imprisoned for UVF activities, has been a strong supporter of the Good Friday Agreement and is possibly one of the few Loyalist politicians to actively support the Agreement. His constituency as of 2003 is Belfast East.
