Ethical consumerism

Ethical consumerism is the practice of boycotting products which unfairly exploit workers, needlessly destroy important environmental features and/or unnecessarily harm animals. By selectively spending their money, consumers are empowered to collectively influence and thus make more democratic the direction of standards of world capitalism.
