Fat-Frumos
Fat-Frumos, a figure in Romanian fairy tales is a near-literal translation of the Prince Charming (Rom "frumos" = "handsome"). There is a Fat-Frumos in every fairy tale with a Princess. In most stories Fat-Frumos has to fight the evil Balaur or Zmeu to set free the princess who is the love of his life.
In some fairy tales Fat-Frumos is growing very fast immediately after birth: "in a day like others in a month, in a month like others in a year". Usually in that tales Fat-Frumos is the long-waited child of the king and queen.
