Gilded Age

The Gilded Age is the era of the Robber Barons, the age of unrestricted capitalism in late nineteenth century America. The term was coined by Mark Twain and Charles Dudley Warner in their 1873 book, '\'The Gilded Age: A Tale of Today''.
