Gnjilane

Gnjilane (Гњилане) is a city located in the province of Kosovo and Metohia in Serbia and Montenegro at 42.47° North, 21.48° East. Its name stems from word "putrid" in Serbian language. In Albanian, the city is known as Gjilan. In 2003, Gnjilane was estimated to have 69,200 citizens.
