Gunung Kerinci is the highest Mountain of Sumatra, Indonesia. It is located in the Kerinci national park, Kerinci seblat, and 3800 m high. The volcano is still active occasionally.
The obsidian produced by the eruptions of this mountains has been used to fashion tools on the prehistoric period.
