Hall of Memory (Birmingham)

The Hall of Memory in Birmingham, England, was erected in the 1920s to commemorate the 12,320 Birmingham citizens who died in World War I.

Made from Portland Stone, from Portland Bill near Weymouth, it was opened by Prince Arthur of Connaught on July 4, 1925. The four statues around the exterior are by local artist Albert Toft. They represent the Army, Navy, Air Force and Women's Services.

Some of the interior decoration is by William Bloye.
