According to British traditions, Heber was the name of a people descending from Magog's first son Baath who were supposed to have occupied the Iberian peninsula, and Ireland (Hibernia) prior to arriving at their final destination in the Hebrides, leaving their name in each location. Prior to this Iberians were, according to Greek legend (?from Dionysius Periestis's comments on Hesperides), actually refugees from Atlantis (thus according to Plato related to the first dynasties to rule Egypt).
