Huey Lewis

Huey Lewis, whose real name is Hubert Clegg III, (born 1951) is a musician and singer. He did lead vocals and played harmonica for his band Huey Lewis and The News, a popular rock group during the 1980s that was based in San Francisco, California. He aso played with the band Clover in the early 1970s.

His mother, Magda Cregg, was the partner of the poet Lew Welch.
