Hyannis is a village in the city of Barnstable, Massachusetts. It is a residential area, and it also contains the town’s central business/commercial district, which includes town offices and several shopping malls. Hyannis Port is a residential and fishing village and its harbor provides access to the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. It is also the location of the Kennedy family residence.
