Ichikawa Kon

Ichikawa Kon (市川崑, b. 20 November 1915 in Mie, Japan) is a Japanese film director. His films include adaptations of Tanizaki Junichiro's The Key (1959) and The Makioka Sisters (1983), Natsume Soseki's Kokoro (1955) and I Am a Cat (1965), and Mishima Yukio's The Temple of the Golden Pavilion (as Enjo (1958)) as well as the documentary Tokyo Olympiad (1965).
