Kamo (加茂市; -shi) is a city located in Niigata, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 32,422 and the density of 242.55 persons per km². The total area is 133.67 km².
The city was founded on March 10, 1954.
Kamo (Maori word) is a small town just north of (or some would argue a suburb of) Whangarei, a city of about 50,000 in Northland, New Zealand.
