Kosovska Mitrovica

Kosovska Mitrovica (Косовска Митровица; Albanian Mitrovicë or Mitrovica) is a city located in Kosovo and Metohia, a province of Serbia and Montenegro, at 42.89° North, 20.87° East. Its name means "Mitrovica of Kosovo" (Mitrovica of Srem also exists) while Mitrovica stems from name "Mitar" in Serbian language. In 2003 the city has total population of 75,600.
