Kungsbacka is a Municipality in Halland County, in southwest Sweden. It is located about 30 km south of Gothenburg. The total population is 65,113. The area is 610.3 km², with a population density of 107 inhabitants per km². Kungsbacka has cloes ties to the city of Gothenburg, as it is located only 40 kilometers away. Despite this it is administratively not a part of Västra Götaland County, but of Halland County.
