Larry Hagman was born 21 September 1931 in Fort Worth, Texas. Hagman is the son of legendary stage actress Mary Martin.

Hagman is best known for his roles as Tony Nelson on the popular television sitcom "I Dream of Jeannie" (1965-1970), and J.R. Ewing on the primetime soap opera Dallas (1978-1991).
