Loxapine

Loxapine (trade name Loxitane^®) is a typical antipsychotic drug structurally related to clozapine, and is a member of the dibenzodiazepine family. Several researchers have argued that Loxapine may behave as an atypical antipsychotic. [[1] It is primarily used to treat schizophrenia.

Common side effects

Side effects include: tardive dyskinesia, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, extrapyramidal side-effects, tremor, and sedation.
