Maki, Niigata (Kubiki)

Maki is a village located in the Nishi-kubiki District, Niigata, Japan. The town has no special relationship with another Maki in the same prefecture.

Etymologically maki means "meadow".

History

The village was established in 1901 by merging Kawabe, Kawakami, and Kunimi Villages.
