Maribyrnong is a district in the inner western suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. While traditionally a poor, working class area popular with new migrants, the character of the area has changed in recent years. It is slowly moving from a heavily industrial area to a modern, middle class area due to its close proximity to downtown Melbourne.
