Michael Patrick Nolan, Lord Nolan is a retired judge in the United Kingdom. He served as a Law Lord. He chaired the Committee on Standards In Public Life set up in the UK by John Major's government after the cash for questions affair, and has conducted numerous other inquiries. He was Chancellor of the University of Essex from 1997 to 2003.
