Miroslaw Hermaszewski
Mirosław Hermaszewski (September 15, 1942 - ) was the first citizen of Poland to make a spaceflight when he flew about Soyuz 30 via the Communist Bloc Intercosmos space program and spent nearly eight days aboard the Salyut space station. He was a fighter pilot in the Polish air force before becoming a cosmonaut.
