Monochloroacetic Acid

Monochloroacetic Acid, CClH₂COOH, (chloroacetic acid, chloracetic acid, chloroethanoic acid or monochloroethanoic acid) is a carboxylic acid which is formed by chlorinating acetic acid.

• irritant, harmfull when swallowed, and can cause respiratory problems.
