The complex is composed of three pyramids. The Aquarium at Moody Gardens is in one of the pyramids. The Rainforest Pyramid contains exotic fauna and flora. The Discovery Pyramid has the Ridefilm Theater and a six-story IMAX theater. The complex has a newly-opened on-site hotel.
The complex gets plenty of local tourists from the city of Houston and its outlying suburbs.
