Morty Seinfeld, played by Barney Martin is Jerry Seinfeld's father. He sold raincoats for 35 years, and nearly ended up taking over Elaine's boss's position. Liz Sheridan plays Helen Seinfeld, Jerry's mother. Her favourite saying (about Jerry) - 'How could anyone not like him'.
