Nip/Tuck
Nip/Tuck (debuted July 22, 2003) is a drama television series on FX that follows the lives of two Miami plastic surgeons, Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh) and Christian Troy (Julian McMahon). The show can be considered to be a soap opera at heart, with its many-episode storylines and somewhat unrealistically dramatic events occurring in the lives of the characters. Themes dealt with so far include lesbianism, ménage à trois, multiple personality disorder, transgender issues, and circumcision. The (current) main characters are Sean McNamara; Christian Troy; McNamara's wife Julia, son Matt, and daughter Annie; the staff psychologist Grace; and the anesthesiologist Liz.
Nip/Tuck was created by Ryan Murphy, who also created the two-season WB teen drama Popular.
