Ocean Island

Ocean Island is a name given two unrelated islands in the Pacific Ocean:

• Kure Atoll, the last atoll in the Hawaiian Islands chain.

• Banaba, in Kiribati, formerly one of the great phosphate rocks of the Pacific (along with Nauru and Makatea in French Polynesia).
