Ontario Libertarian Party

The Ontario Libertarian Party was founded in 1975 and is inspired by libertarian philosophy and particularly the objectivist ideas of Ayn Rand. It claimed to be Ontario's fourth party for a period but has been displaced by the Green Party of Ontario and the Family Coalition Party of Ontario and has declined since the rise of Mike Harris and his Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario.

The party is associated with the Libertarian Party of Canada.
