Operation Avalanche

History records no less that three events known as Operation Avalanche:

• Operation Avalanche: The Allied invasion of Italy, 1943;
• Operation Avalanche: A U.S. investigation of child pornography on the Internet, launched 1999.
• Operation Avalanche: U.S.-led coalition offensive in Afghanistan, December 2003.
