Organizational theory

Organizational theory is the study of organizations, particularly human organizations. It breaks down into many other theories, amongst which are:

• theory of faceted classification
• theory of concept
• theory of terminology
• ontology

The main related subjects are information management, knowledge management and process engineering. There are specialized related subjects, like topic maps, poly-hierarchy trees, and taxonomy.
