Paris, Texas (1984) is a movie directed by Wim Wenders, probably his most well-known and critically acclaimed, with a distinctive musical score by Ry Cooder.
The film takes place between Los Angeles and the desert near the Texas town of Paris. Screenplay was by Sam Shepard.
