Pease Pottage

Pease Pottage is a small village just outside Crawley, in West Sussex. It is largely known for its motorway service station, named after the village, which serves the bottom end of the M23, where it joins the A23. It also has a shop, pub, and some small industrial units. Pease Pottage should not be confused with 'Lower Pease Pottage', a deceptive description used (along with 'Broad Oak') to boost prices of houses in the Broadfield neighbourhood of Crawley.

Pease Pottage is also an old name for pease pudding.
