The Perm Oblast is a oblast in the Volga federal district of Russia. It is named after its primary city, Perm. The oblast covers an area of 127,360.8 km², and as of 2004 the estimated population is 2.6 million.
Neighboring oblasts and republics are (from north clockwise) Komi, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, Kirov Oblast and the Autonomous district of the Komi-Permyaks.
