Piers John Sellers (born 11 April 1955) is a British astronaut and veteran of a single space shuttle mission.
Sellers, born in Crowbrough, Sussex, earned a bachelors degree in ecological science from the University of Edinburgh and a docotoral degree in biometeorology from Leeds University. Sellers work in the field of meteorology has focused primarily on computer modeling of climate systems. Sellers was selected as an astronaut candidate in 1996 and flew his first space mission aboard STS-112 in 2002.
